Job Summary and Qualifications

​​The Patient Bed Coordinator ensures hospital beds are available, functional, and properly staged to support patient care. This role is critical for maintaining operational efficiency and patient safety by managing bed inventory, coordinating repairs, and responding promptly to bedrequests.ThePatient Bed Coordinator plays a hands-on role in physically moving, positioning, and staging hospital beds throughout the facility. This position requires frequent lifting, pushing, and maneuvering of beds to ensure timely delivery to patient care areas. In addition to bed movement, the coordinator tracks inventory, inspects beds for functionality, and maintains organized storage areas. Strong communication and responsiveness are essential to support nursing and clinical teams.
