We are a small, established periodontal and implant specialty practice in Manhattan looking for a warm, polished, dependable
Patient Care Coordinator / Front Desk team member to join our office.
This is not a high-volume corporate dental setting. We are a boutique practice with a close-knit team, long-term patients, and a strong emphasis on personalized care, professionalism, and attention to detail.
The right person does
not necessarily need extensive dental experience. We are willing to train someone who is intelligent, organized, responsible, comfortable speaking with patients, and genuinely interested in building a long-term position in a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities include:
- Greeting and assisting patients
- Answering phones and managing patient communication
- Scheduling and coordinating appointments
- Collecting and discussing patient balances and fees
- Assisting with dental insurance verification and follow-up
- Communicating with referring dental offices
- Maintaining accurate patient information and documentation
- Helping keep the daily schedule organized and running smoothly
- Providing a high level of customer service to our patients
We are looking for someone who is:
- Reliable and punctual
- Professional, warm, and confident with patients
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable multitasking in a small office
- Able to communicate clearly by phone, email, and in person
- Comfortable discussing financial matters with patients
- Computer proficient and able to learn new systems
- Accountable and willing to take ownership of their responsibilities
- Interested in a stable, long-term position
Dental or medical office experience is a plus, but
personality, reliability, communication skills, and willingness to learn are equally important to us.
This position is best suited for someone looking to grow in
dental administration, patient coordination, or healthcare office management. We are specifically seeking someone interested in making this role their professional home rather than a short-term position before returning to school or changing careers.
Compensation: $22–$27/hour depending on experience, with opportunity for advancement as responsibilities and skills increase.
If you are dependable, personable, organized, enjoy helping people, and would like to become an important part of a small professional team, we would love to hear from you.
