About the Role:The Hearing & Tinnitus Center is seeking a dependable, motivated Patient Care Coordinator to join our fast-paced audiology practice. This is not a quiet front-desk position. You will regularly balance phone calls, scheduling, patient check-in and check-out, payments, records, and other administrative responsibilities. The right candidate is punctual, flexible, comfortable multitasking, and eager to learn through hands-on training.
Responsibilities:- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, follow-ups, and consultations
- Greet and check in patients, ensuring a welcoming and professional front office experience
- Manage patient records, intake forms, and documentation with accuracy and confidentiality
- Coordinate insurance verification, authorizations, and billing inquiries
- Communicate with patients regarding treatment plans, hearing aid fittings, and tinnitus management services
- Answer incoming calls, respond to patient inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service
- Support audiologists and clinical staff to ensure smooth daily clinic operations
Requirements:- Customer-service experience
- Strong computer and communication skills
- Ability to multitask without becoming easily overwhelmed
- Dependable attendance and consistent punctuality
- Positive attitude and willingness to accept feedback
- Initiative, flexibility, and attention to detail
- Patience and compassion when assisting patients with hearing loss
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a background check
