Medical Receptionist/Patient Care Coordinator 

Pay: $19.00/hour
Employment Type: 3-Month Contract
Location: Mission Hills, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM PST

We are seeking a friendly, professional, and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join a busy healthcare clinic in Mission Hills, CA. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while supporting daily front office operations. The ideal candidate has a healthcare background, strong computer skills, and enjoys working in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients for scheduled appointments
• Register patients and accurately enter demographic and insurance information
• Answer phones and provide excellent customer service
• Make appointment reminder calls
• Scan medical records and other documentation into the electronic medical record
• Perform general clerical and administrative duties
• Work closely with medical assistants, nurses, and providers to ensure smooth clinic operations
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines

Qualifications:

• Previous healthcare or medical office experience preferred
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
• Medical Receptionist experience preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR is a plus
• Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills
