Position Overview:
Allmed Staffing is seeking a professional and customer-focused Receptionist to support daily front office operations at WellMed Dr. Phillips. This role is essential in managing high-volume incoming calls, coordinating patient scheduling, and ensuring smooth communication between patients and clinical staff. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Team Environment:
The Receptionist will work alongside a collaborative team of 5 staff members who manage patient calls, faxes, and check-ins. The team values teamwork, efficiency, and delivering excellent patient service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and respond to 70+ inbound calls daily in a professional and timely manner
  • Schedule patient appointments and coordinate calendars efficiently
  • Take detailed and accurate messages and route them to the appropriate staff members
  • Assist with patient check-in and front desk support as needed
  • Handle incoming faxes and ensure proper distribution
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and callers
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines
  • Support office workflow and administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications:
Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years of call center experience
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred:

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) call center experience
  • Previous healthcare or medical office experience

Dress Code:

  • Solid scrubs or business casual
