As a Patient Care Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our office runs smoothly and that every patient feels welcome and cared for. Your responsibilities may include:
- Greeting patients and families with warmth and enthusiasm
- Answering, managing, and returning phone calls promptly and professionally
- Checking patients in for their scheduled appointments
- Scheduling and confirming appointments using our practice software
- Verifying insurance and assisting with billing and collections
- Processing financial transactions, balancing statements, invoices, and payments
- Handling accounts payable and maintaining accurate records
- Supporting patient education and motivation throughout treatment
- Keeping the office clean, organized, and inviting for patients and team members

We’re looking for someone who is:
- Extremely personable and able to quickly build rapport with patients and families
- Team-oriented, with a “team before self” mindset
- Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Highly motivated to learn and grow within the role
- Skilled with computers/tablets and able to type quickly and accurately
- Experienced in customer service
- Experienced in an office setting
- Familiar with dental or orthodontic environments (preferred, but not required)
- Professional and mindful of patient privacy and HIPAA compliance
Position Details
- Type: Full-time (35–40 hrs/week), 4–5 days per week
- Schedule: Variable hours between 6:30am–5:30pm; standard 8-hour shifts
