Are you a strategic nursing leader with a passion for clinical excellence and operational efficiency? Our client, a premier healthcare network in New Jersey, is looking for a Patient Care Director to oversee high-impact clinical operations.
This role is designed for a dynamic leader who can bridge the gap between administrative strategy and frontline patient care. You will be responsible for fostering a culture of safety, mentoring nursing staff, and ensuring that departmental goals align with the highest standards of the Emergency Department (ED) environment.
What You'll Do
Strategic Oversight: Lead clinical practice standards and operational workflows within the department.
Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and evaluate a team of nursing professionals to ensure high engagement and retention.
Performance Management: Drive goal-oriented outcomes related to patient satisfaction, safety protocols, and budgetary compliance.
Collaboration: Act as a key liaison between executive leadership and clinical staff to streamline communication.
Requirements
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
Licensure: Active, unrestricted New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) License.
Clinical Experience: 1–3 years of relevant clinical practice, specifically with Emergency Department (ED) experience.
Certifications: BLS required upon hire; ACLS required within 6 months of start date.
Skills: Exceptional organizational skills and a proven track record of clear, professional communication.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced Education: Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) or a related field.
Leadership Experience: 2+ years of management or supervisory experience in a clinical setting.
Drive: A high level of initiative with a demonstrated ability to lead teams through organizational change.
