The Patient Care Technician (PCT) delivers high quality, patient-centered care by performing a variety of

delegated patient care services in accordance with the PCT’s skills/training and the needs of the

department. The PCT works under the supervision of the registered nurse (RN).

Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements

Education: A minimum of a high school diploma or General Education Diploma as recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

Experience: 1+ years of experience in acute care setting or currently enrolled in Nursing Program, preferred.

Skills: Must be able to read and write English.

Licenses/Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required upon hire.
