Patient Care Tech- Full-time

Mississippi Valley Surgery Center is seeking to add a full-time Patient Care Tech to our growing outpatient surgery center. The Patient Care Tech supports the RN in providing care to patients of all acuity levels and ages. The PCT is responsible for basic duties such as ambulating patients, assisting with basic care and toileting, cleaning rooms and equipment, and stocking supplies.

Responsibilities:

• PCT performs patient care and treatments under the supervision of an RN. Provides and documents care.
• Possess the ability to lift, move, position, and transport patients.
• Demonstrates the ability to meet the department work schedule.
• Demonstrates initiative to improve the quality of care, patient and employee safety, and customer service

This position is full-time, and Mississippi Valley Surgery Center offers competitive wages and benefits, along with no weekend or holiday work.

Medical Assistant/CNA certification required. Previous hospital/surgery center experience preferred.
