Beacon Plainwell is a long-term acute care hospital with 22-staffed beds and 24/7 emergency care. An affiliated rural health clinic, the hospital offers primary and specialty care as well as long-term acute care (LTAC). From family and internal medicine to behavioral health care, our hospital provides care for cardiology, stroke, and women's health.

What You'll Do

A Patient Care Tech II performs basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision. You will aid with movement and placement of patients. You will assist in patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living. You will report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff to document necessary records. You will also keep patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintain medical equipment.

Patient Care Tech II Job Responsibilities:

• Aids with movement and placement of patients.

• Reports findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Documents necessary records.
• Keeps patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintains medical equipment.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience. Professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience. BLS must be obtained within 1 month of hire or transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Licenses and Certifications

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
