    Orthopedic Surgery Center of Creve Coeur is hiring a PRN Patient Care Tech!

    Orthopedic Surgery Center of Creve Coeur, a leading outpatient surgical facility dedicated to providing high-quality care and service-oriented environment, is seeking a skilled and compassionate PRN Patient Care Tech to join our team. As a Patient Care Tech, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring smooth office operations.

    Patient Care Tech at Orthopedic Surgery Center of Creve Coeur

    The Patient Care Tech provides direct patient care by assisting patients with changing linens, ambulation, and transport. Maintains a clean and orderly patient care environment. Assists during patient examinations and procedures. Obtains and records patient vital signs, provides nutritional intake and reports results and observations. Demonstrates the primary goal of efficiently providing surgical services that exceed customer expectations and improve clinical and financial operations.

    Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays or weekends. Some later evenings required. Competitive salary and benefits for the right candidate.

    Responsibilities:

    • Knows and adheres to policies of the Center and demonstrates fiscal responsibility.
    • Follows standards, policies, procedures, goals, and objectives non-acutely ill patients according to accepted standards.
    • Demonstrates ability to understand the unique needs of each age group of the patient population.
    • Follows OSHA and other standards for protection against blood borne pathogens.
    • Uses good body mechanics
    • Remains calm and functions as a team member during times of stress and crisis situations.
    • Able to take vital signs and apply V/S monitors and documents appropriately.
    • Follows employee health and other personnel and staffing policies.

    Qualifications:

    • High school graduate or equivalent.
    • Must have the skills necessary to operate office equipment that are required to fulfill job duties.
    • Good communication skills.
