Description
The Patient Care Technician provides direct and indirect patient care services under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. The role supports the delivery of safe, timely, and patient-centered care by assisting with basic clinical and supportive care needs in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment. The Patient Care Technician practices in alignment with organizational values, clinical standards, and regulatory requirements.
High school diploma or G.E.D.
Florida CNA certification.
Hospital PCT/CNA experience preferred.
Nursing students: currently enrolled in a Nursing program (ASN or BSN) and have completed Fundamentals of Nursing (must submit unofficial transcript with application).
