Patient Care Technician - Cancer Center

The Patient Care Technician (PCT):

• Provides nursing care to patients under the supervision and direction of a registered nurse.
• Performs routine direct patient care activities following established policies and procedures in a manner conducive to the safety and comfort of the patient. 
• Performs observations of patients and reports changes in patient condition to the registered nurse. 
• Performs specific skills including phlebotomy and point of care testing (POCT).
