As a PCT on the Cardiac Renal Unit, your day will include assisting with hygiene, mobility, vital signs, documentation, and providing compassionate bedside care, including support for patients nearing the end of life. Your ability to stay focused, observant, and compassionate will make you an essential part of delivering safe, high‑quality care every day.
What You'll Gain
You'll gain specialized experience with patients experiencing heart failure, dysrhythmias, renal insufficiency/failure, unstable angina, MI, and pre‑open‑heart surgery needs. You'll learn how to support telemetry patients, recognize changes in patient status, and work alongside nurses trained in dysrhythmia and EKG interpretation.
