Responsibilities

• Assist optometrists in conducting eye exams and diagnostic tests
• Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining medical history and explaining procedures
• Perform preliminary tests such as visual acuity, color vision, depth perception, and eye muscle movements
• Instruct patients on contact lens insertion, removal, and care
• Maintain examination rooms and equipment
