How you'll make an impact in this role

  • Assist patients with essential activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, feeding, and safe ambulation, while prioritizing patient dignity and adhering to falls-prevention protocols.
  • Accurately measure and record physiological data-including blood pressure, pulse, respirations, temperature, and oxygen saturation-as well as blood glucose levels and Intake/Output (I&O), immediately reporting abnormal findings to the Registered Nurse.
  • Perform delegated technical tasks such as 12-lead EKG placement, simple wound dressing changes, and foley catheter care, ensuring all procedures are conducted using proper aseptic technique and standard precautions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized patient environment by restocking bedside supplies, responding promptly to call lights, and facilitating safe patient transfers or discharges to ensure efficient unit throughput.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
