Position Summary: Under the supervision, and/or direction of the Nursing Director / Clinical Manager, Resource Nurse, or Staff Nurse, performs various duties in the treatment and care of patients in accordance with established functions and procedures of the hospital.Position Qualification:High School graduate or equivalent work experience andMinimum of six months experience as a Patient Care Tech in a hospital setting; orEKG, Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant Certification; orForeign Nurse/Physician with appropriate documentation; orNursing Student that completed 1st year of Nursing School; orRequires a thorough knowledge of basic nursing functions to meet patient needs for ADL's must be able to work rapidly under stressful situations with many interruptions.Licenses/Certifications:Required BLS certification from the American Red CrossMust clear background and drug test required.
