Job Overview

As a PCT on the Observation Unit, you'll work closely with nurses to provide hands‑on care to patients who require short‑term evaluation, treatment, and monitoring. You'll assist with hygiene, mobility, vital signs, documentation, and compassionate bedside care - including support for patients nearing the end of life. Your steady presence and attention to detail help ensure patients feel supported during a critical window in their care.

The Observation Unit is a 23‑bed unit with remote telemetry capabilities, caring for patients who need short‑term evaluation and monitoring as test results guide decisions for admission or discharge. Requirements

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within six months of hire
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Completion of required PCT classes for the unit
