Schedule: Night Shift (NOC)
- Sunday through Thursday
- 5x8-Hour Shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours Weekly

Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Patient Care Technician (PCT) to provide direct patient support in a long-term care and geriatric healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will assist patients with activities of daily living, support individualized care plans, and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
- Support patient comfort, safety, dignity, and independence.
- Observe, document, and report changes in patient condition to the appropriate healthcare team members.
- Participate in patient orientation and assist with transitions into the care setting.
- Coordinate and prioritize daily tasks in collaboration with nursing, housing, and clinical staff.
- Assist with implementing individualized service and care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and records.
- Provide compassionate emotional support and positive interactions with patients and families.
- Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and healthcare compliance standards.
- Assist with routine patient monitoring and support services as assigned.
- Support team operations and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
Required Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Licensure & Certifications
- Current Patient Care Technician (PCT) Certification required.
Experience
- Previous patient care, caregiver, nursing assistant, or healthcare support experience preferred.
- Experience working with geriatric or long-term care populations preferred.
- Experience with electronic medication administration records (eMAR) or QuickMAR systems preferred but not required.
