Contract Details

  • Position Type: Contract
  • Contract Duration: 3 months
  • Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour (USD)
  • Shift / Schedule: 5 x 8hr; Sunday Thursday NOCs (Night shift, 22:00 6:30)
  • Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off traveler UP TO 1 shift per pay period (every 2 weeks)
  • Travel Requirements: All travel pairs will be required to have their own transportation. Traveler is expected to have reliable transportation and no additional scheduling restrictions.
  • Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is a Patient Care Technician contract opportunity at a Long Term Care / Assisted Living facility in Portland, OR. The role involves providing personal care and support to geriatric participants and residents with minimal supervision, and requires 1 year of prior experience working with seniors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assists as needed in providing or assisting geriatric participants/residents with personal care including but not limited to: bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming with minimal support and supervision.
  • Schedules and coordinates tasks to be performed by other PCTs, in cooperation with other housing and clinic staff.
  • Participates in participant/resident orientation to the ElderPlace facility.
  • Provides input and information for service/care plans.

Required Skills

  • Reliable transportation required; no additional scheduling restrictions.

Preferred Skills

  • QuickMAR experience preferred but not required.

Required Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of prior experience working with seniors required.

Education Requirements

  • BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification required.

  • Locals accepted: Yes; considered "local" within 50-mile radius; locals accepted at the same rate.
