Patient Care Technician -7 North Inpatient Medical/Oncology Description: Assist RNs and LPNs with meeting the needs of hospitalized patients or nursing home residents. Actively participate in nursing reports by receiving and contributing to status reports of patient. Provide complete and thorough personal care for patients. Take and accurately record vital signs. Assist and accompany the patient in the admission, transfer and discharge process while assuring comfort and safety. Promptly and consistently respond to patients needs. Promptly and consistently respond to needs of family members. Complete housekeeping responsibilities such as utility rooms and diet kitchen as needed. Assist with ADLs- personal care, feeding, bathing, and dressing. Provide support to patients and family members.

Experience/Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. Previous patient care experience in hospital setting preferred. CNA certification preferred but not required.
