    Overview:

    Shift: Part-time, evenings, 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm, for 40 hours per pay period, holiday and every other weekend rotation

    Responsibilities:
    • Be the friendly face patients see throughout their stay.
    • Take vital signs, assist with daily activities, and support nurses with clinical care.
    • Respond quickly to patient needs and help create a safe, healing environment.
    • Gain valuable hospital experience that can grow into a long-term healthcare career.
    Qualifications:

    Education:

    • High School Diploma/GED or currently and actively working towards completion of Diploma/GED
    • Prefer candidates that have successfully completed the CNA program and are active on the Iowa Direct Care Registry

    Certification/License:

    • Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or within 3 months from date of hire
