Nutritional Wellness Center of South Jersey is seeking an enthusiastic, compassionate, organized, and health-conscious individual to join our growing team as a
Patient Coordinator / Holistic Wellness Assistant.
We are not simply looking for someone to answer phones and schedule appointments. We are looking for someone who shares our passion for natural health, enjoys connecting with people, and wants to be part of a practice dedicated to helping individuals achieve better health and wellness.
Experience or education in holistic health, functional medicine, nutrition, integrative medicine, or other natural healthcare fields is highly desirable.

Your Responsibilities
Patient Care and Front Desk Coordination
- Warmly welcome patients and create a positive, caring, professional experience
- Answer telephone calls, respond to patient questions, and schedule appointments
- Coordinate patient visits, follow-ups, and practitioner schedules
- Assist patients with intake forms, documentation, and office procedures
- Process payments and maintain accurate patient records
- Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
- Help keep the office organized, efficient, and running smoothly
Holistic Wellness Support
- Develop a working knowledge of the natural health services offered by our practice
- Help educate patients about available services, programs, and appointment options within the scope of your training
- Assist practitioners with patient preparation, treatment room setup, and wellness-related activities
- Receive training to assist with selected noninvasive wellness assessments and technologies, as appropriate
- Support nutritional supplement ordering, inventory, and patient coordination
- Assist with wellness events, educational programs, and community outreach

Preferred Experience and Background
We especially encourage applications from individuals with experience or education in:
- Functional medicine or integrative healthcare
- Holistic nutrition, health coaching, or nutritional consulting
- Chiropractic, acupuncture, naturopathic, or wellness practices
- Nutritional supplements, health food stores, or natural product education
- Medical office coordination, patient services, or healthcare administration
- Wellness centers, fitness facilities, or other health-focused environments
Previous experience in a natural health or wellness setting is a strong advantage.
Experience with patient scheduling, electronic health records, office administration, and customer service is also valuable.

- High school diploma or equivalent required
