Overview

The Patient Experience Coordinator supports the implementation and coordination of patient experience initiatives across

ambulatory practices. This position serves as an operational resource for patient experience programs, onboarding and

educational activities, recognition initiatives, survey administration, data reporting, and departmental communications. The coordinator collaborates with clinical and operational teams to support service excellence efforts and enhance patient

experience across the organization.

Responsibilities

Patient Experience Program Coordination: Coordinates

patient experience initiatives, projects, and resources across

ambulatory practices. Tracks deliverables, facilitates

communication, and supports implementation of departmental

programs and initiatives.

Onboarding and Education Support: Supports patient

experience onboarding and educational activities for

employees, providers, and leaders. Coordinates training

logistics, presents patient experience information during

orientation programs, and maintains educational materials

and resources.

Data, Reporting, and Technology Support: Assists with data

collection, report preparation, dashboard maintenance, user

access management, and support of patient experience

technology platforms. Monitors routine patient experience

metrics and escalates trends, concerns, or opportunities for

leadership review.

Recognition, Events, and Communications: Coordinates

recognition programs, engagement activities, events, and

communications that support patient experience initiatives

and organizational culture.

Administrative and Operational Support: Provides

administrative support through meeting coordination, agenda

preparation, documentation, action-item tracking, and

management of departmental resources and

communications.

Qualifications

Experience

Requirements

2-4 years of experience in healthcare operations, patient experience, customer service, training,

education, project coordination, or a related field required.

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint,

Word, and Teams.

Preferred Qualifications :

1-3 years' experience in a hospital or healthcare system, preferably in an ambulatory setting

Experience supporting survey platforms, reporting tools, learning management systems, or engagement programs.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, Public Health, Business Administration, or a

related field required; 3-5 years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of bachelor's

degree requirement

Travel Up to 25%

Abilities

Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

and deadlines.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.

Ability to work collaboratively with providers, leaders, staff, and interdisciplinary teams

Ability to collect, organize, and prepare data and reports for leadership review.

Ability to present information to small groups and facilitate onboarding and orientation activities.

Knowledge of healthcare operations, patient experience principles, customer service, or service

excellence concepts preferred.
