Find your purpose as a Patient Financial Services Support Assistant with CentraCare! As the PFS Support Assistant you are responsible for supporting Revenue Cycle operations and ensuring that Epic and related applications are optimized and support all Revenue Cycle functions to promote timely and accurate reimbursement. Responsible for assisting Leadership with ongoing monitoring of Key Performance Indicators or other performance metrics to proactively identify and capitalize upon improvement opportunities. Keeps Leadership informed of system or process issues. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate.

Schedule:

  • Full-time 80 hours every 2 weeks
  • Mon-Fri 8:00a-4:30p
  • Onsite at South Point location in St. Cloud

Pay and Benefits:

  • Starting pay is $22.40 per hour; exact pay is determined by years of related experience.

  • Pay range $22.40-$33.58 per hour

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in Business or healthcare related program or three years relevant healthcare experience in lieu of education required.
  • Minimum three years experience in accounts receivables required.
  • Experience in a hospital or clinic billing environment working with third party payors, billing and terminology required.
  • Experience with use of Microsoft Office applications and related healthcare systems and software required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare billing and third party payor requirements.
  • Knowledge of health insurance, CPT/HCPCS, ICD codes, Revenue Codes, claim form locators required.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer relations principles.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner with attention to detail and accuracy.
