TempExperts is seeking a Patient Intake & Scheduling Coordinator to join a busy healthcare team in Clearwater. This position combines patient communication, appointment coordination, administrative support, and problem-solving in a role that directly contributes to a positive patient experience.

What You’ll Do:

• Communicate with patients regarding appointments, scheduling updates, and program participation.
• Schedule and reschedule rehab sessions while ensuring proper clinical coverage.
• Coordinate with Rehab Specialists, Clinical Leads, Dieticians, and medical staff.
• Assist with onboarding patients and educating them on program expectations and equipment.
• Support intake processes, including guidance on monitoring devices (EKG, pulse oximeter, blood pressure cuff).
• Troubleshoot basic technical issues during virtual sessions and coordinate with IT as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems.
• Help improve scheduling workflows and patient experience processes.
• Develop contingency plans for staffing gaps or scheduling conflicts.
• Deliver excellent customer service to a diverse patient population.
• Support program improvement initiatives and additional duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of Medical Assistant or similar clinical support experience.
• 2+ years of scheduling or care coordination experience.
• Cardiology or cardiac rehab experience preferred.
• Experience working with EMR systems.
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Comfortable working onsite in Clearwater, FL.
• Strong patient-focused and compassionate mindset.
