Patient Navigator, Breast Imaging

We are seeking a Breast Imaging Patient Navigator to serve as a trusted guide, educator, and advocate for patients throughout their breast health journey. In this highly visible role, you will help patients and families navigate the breast care continuum, coordinate services across multiple disciplines, ensure compliance with MQSA guidelines, and build strong relationships with providers and community partners. This position plays a key role in improving access to breast imaging services, supporting patients through diagnosis and treatment, and enhancing the overall patient experience.

What you'll do
    • Guide and support patients and families through the breast care continuum, providing education, advocacy, and coordination of care from screening through treatment and follow-up.
    • Serve as a liaison between patients, providers, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely communication, care coordination, and understanding of treatment recommendations.
    • Coordinate follow-up imaging, procedures, pathology results, treatment appointments, and other prescribed care while maintaining continuity throughout the patient journey.
    • Oversee MQSA quality control processes and ensure compliance with breast imaging standards, regulations, and annual inspection requirements.
    • Build relationships with referring providers, community organizations, women's health groups, and corporate wellness programs to expand access to breast imaging services and increase awareness of available resources.

Who you are
    • Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology required.
    • Certified Radiological Technologist and Registered Technologist in Mammography required.
    • Certified Breast Health Clinical Navigator certification required.
    • Five years of clinical radiology experience required, with a strong understanding of breast imaging services and patient care coordination.
    • A compassionate communicator who excels at relationship building, patient advocacy, problem-solving, and collaboration across multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
