Required Qualifications
- Experience with medical insurance, referrals, and benefit plans.
- 3+ years as a Patient Service/Access Representative in an outpatient Clinic Or medical office
- Epic experience.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
key Responsibilities
- Support patient access activities including scheduling, pre-registration, referrals, authorizations, financial clearance, and patient registration.
- Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, TPL, Medi-Cal/Medicare, and Workers' Compensation.
- Determine patient responsibility, provide estimates, and collect co-pays/deductibles.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain accurate patient information.
