Patient Scheduling Coordinator

Texas Physical Therapy Specialists is seeking a Medical Scheduling Coordinator to join our growing Centralized Scheduling and Referral Team. After completing paid onsite training in Live Oak, TX, you'll transition to working remotely while remaining part of a supportive and collaborative team. ***(Candidates must be local to San Antonio, TX- Live Oak)***

• Job Type: Full Time 
• Pay Rate: ~$17-$18/ HR

• Flexible 8-hour shifts scheduled between 7:00 AM-7:00 PM Monday-Thursday:/ Friday: 7:00 AM-4:00 PM

Responsibilities:

What You'll Do

In this role, you'll provide exceptional healthcare customer service while coordinating appointments and ensuring patients receive timely access to care.

• Answer incoming patient calls
• Schedule new and follow-up appointments
• Process physician referrals accurately
• Coordinate with clinics and providers
• Maintain accurate patient records in EMR system including verifying and updating patient demographics, insurance information, and other required documentation
• Deliver compassionate customer service
• Help patients begin their therapy journey

 

Qualifications:

What We're Looking For

• 1+ year of medical office, scheduling, patient access, referral coordination, or medical call center experience
• Excellent phone communication skills
• Comfortable managing multiple calls while maintaining accuracy
• Strong computer and data entry skills
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must live near Live Oak/San Antonio, TX for required training and occasional in-office meetings
