Job Title: Patient Service Representative in Patient Access Services.
Reports to Ambulatory Access Director or Delegate.
Summary: Acts as a liaison between patients and clinical staff, handling clerical tasks such as scheduling, registration, insurance verification, payments, and document management.
Essential duties include scheduling, verifying eligibility, obtaining authorizations, processing payments, managing records, supporting outreach, and providing excellent customer service.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required; healthcare clerical experience and basic medical terminology preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills are essential.
Physical requirements include frequent sitting, standing, walking, and light lifting. Must be able to wear PPE and adapt to various locations.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week, first shift. No supervisory responsibilities.
