Large managed care company is looking for Patient Service Representatives to help with call wait times and take inbound calls providing provider appointments and general inquiries.
WORK LOCATION:6161 N State Highway 161, Irving, TX 75038
PAY: $18.00
CONTRACT DATES: ASAP - 8/31/26
HOURS: M-F, 8-5
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answer inbound calls from patients and providers regarding appointments and general inquiries
- Refer calls to providers according to protocols
- Track appointments and document information completely, timely, and accurately
- Make outbound calls to remind patients of appointments or to coordinate resolution of care opportunities with patients, providers, and pharmacies.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Highschool/GED or equivalent
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Previous customer service in a healthcare setting is preferred
- Must be able to multi-task
