Wake Radiology UNC REX Healthcare is seeking a Full-Time Floating Patient Services Representative to provide front desk and administrative support across our outpatient imaging centers throughout Raleigh and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a dynamic work environment while maintaining the stability of a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position with benefits. You'll have the opportunity to work with different teams, expand your knowledge of our operations, and make a meaningful impact on the patient experience. Your schedule and assigned location will vary based on business needs. What You'll Do- Welcome patients and provide exceptional customer service in person and over the phone.
- Register patients, verify demographics, and assist with the check-in process.
- Answer questions and guide patients through their visit.
- Verify insurance eligibility
- Coordinate referrals and maintain accurate patient records.
- Enter patient information accurately into our electronic systems.
- Prepare daily schedules and make appointment reminder calls.
- Ensure all authorizations and required documentation are completed before scheduled appointments.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail and perform other administrative duties as assigned.
- Provide support to multiple imaging centers, helping ensure seamless operations and outstanding patient care.
What We're Looking For- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of two years of medical office experience (radiology experience preferred).
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Strong computer and data entry skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly, multitask, and thrive in different office environments.
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between our Raleigh-area imaging centers as needed.
