Patient Services Representative (Full-Time)

Are you someone who enjoys variety, meeting new people, and working in a fast-paced healthcare environment? Wake Radiology UNC REX Healthcare is seeking a Full-Time Patient Services Representative to provide front desk and administrative support. at our imaging centers located in Raleigh. This position with float between all 13 locations as needed.

What You''ll Do

• Welcome patients and provide exceptional customer service in person and over the phone.
• Register patients, verify demographics, and assist with the check-in process.
• Answer questions and guide patients through their visit.
• Verify insurance eligibility
• Coordinate referrals and maintain accurate patient records.
• Enter patient information accurately into our electronic systems.
• Prepare daily schedules and make appointment reminder calls.
• Ensure all authorizations and required documentation are completed before scheduled appointments.
• Process incoming and outgoing mail and perform other administrative duties as assigned.

What We''re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years of medical office experience preferred (radiology experience is a plus).
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
• Strong computer and data entry skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Driver''s license in good standing.
