Position Summary

Position Summary: Rush Pediatrics Patient Service Representative proactively ensures an exceptional experience for patients when greeting, checking in, and checking out during their appointment; answers incoming phone calls, responds to general patient requests, and schedules patient appointments. Verifies insurance information and ensures appointments are scheduled properly.

40 Hours per Week: Shift times will vary, but will be during the following times: • 7:45am-5:30pm (4 days a week) • 10:00am-7:15pm (1 day a week) • 1 Saturday per month 7:45am-12:15pm

This position will work in multiple locations: • RUSH Pediatrics Family Medicine Oswego • RUSH Pediatrics Aurora • RUSH Pediatrics Aurora Ridge

Position Requirements

Education and Previous Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred.

Hardware/Software Experience: Practice management/medical billing computer programs. Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Word and Excel)
