Patient Service Specialist

The Patient Service Specialist works as a part of the care team performing those clerical duties necessary to prepare patients for a visit. Greet patients, checks patients in and out and collects fees. Ensures that accurate patient and insurance information is collected and entered in the EHR. Answers telephone, takes messages and makes appointments. We are founded and governed by our community.Qualifications:High school diplomaPrevious experience in a healthcare setting or customer service role preferred.Proficiency in computer skills, including experience with electronic medical records systems.Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times. This is a Safety Sensitive position(the use of a Medical Marijuana card is prohibited according to Act 593).Facial piercings are not allowed.Equal Opportunity Employer
