Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver
respiratory and home medical equipment with a patient‑first mindset,
ensuring every interaction reflects compassion, respect, and dignity.
- Set up
equipment in the home with care and attentiveness, creating a safe,
comfortable environment that supports each patient’s health and
independence.
- Provide
clear, empathetic education to patients and caregivers, helping them feel
confident and supported in using their equipment.
- Assess
equipment functionality during each visit, troubleshooting issues with
patience and reassurance to reduce stress for patients and families.
- Respond
to urgent equipment needs with calm, timely support, understanding the
critical role this equipment plays in a patient’s wellbeing.
- Maintain
accurate, timely documentation of deliveries, patient interactions, and
service activities to ensure continuity of care.
- Keep
company vehicles clean, safe, and ready for service to support reliable
patient care in the community.
- Follow
all safety protocols and company standards to protect patients,
caregivers, and yourself.
- Participate
in on‑call rotations, offering compassionate assistance during after‑hours
needs.
- Perform
additional duties as assigned to support patient health, comfort, and
overall care experience.
Work
Schedule: 8am-5pm are our business hours, must be
flexible as there could be times that you are out later than 5pm.
On-Call Duties: There is an on-call rotation as well as a
holiday rotation every other
Requirements
Required Education and/or Experience
- High
school diploma or GED equivalent, required
- Valid
driver’s license in state of residence with a clean driving record,
required
Preferred Education and/or Experience
- Experience
with medical equipment, preferred
- One
year of related work experience, preferred
- Medical
terminology, preferred
Employment is contingent upon
successfully completing a background check, drug screening, compliance
onboarding, and credentialing requirements, as well as maintaining a valid
driver’s license with a clean driving record when applicable to the position.
