Patient Services Ambassador (Aultman Hospital Orrville)

AVI Foodsystems at Aultman Orrville Hospital is seeking a full-time applicant for a Patient Food Service Attendant which manage the delivery of patient dining. Great starting rate of $15.50/hr weekdays and $16.50/hr weekends with continual opportunities to make more money. The right applicant will possess excellent customer service skills and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties, Responsibilities and Skills:

• Use an IPAD to enter meal orders and communicate menu choices to patients.
• Serve patient meals accurately and in a timely manner.
• Promote the highest levels of quality and service.
• Active Listening and Speaking – giving full attention to what others are saying.
• Service Orientation – actively looking for ways to help and assist people.
• Reading Comprehension, time management, good judgement, and decision-making
• Rotating weekends and holidays are required with this position.
• Shifts can range from 10am-630pm, 6am-2:30pm and/or 8am-4:30pm shift.
• Must be able to walk and/or stand for long periods of time.
• Healthcare experience not required; there is NO moving or repositioning of the patient.
• Professional appearance required.
• Progressive job performance increases and room for advancement.
