Northwest Specialty Hospital is seeking a detail-oriented, customer service focused, Patient Services Coordinator to join our Axis Spine Team!
We need someone with a professional demeanor, can work well under stress/stress situations, will provide great customer service to our patients, and is able to multitask!
The Patient Services Coordinator serves as the primary front office resource for the clinic, ensuring a welcoming, efficient, and patient-centered experience from initial contact through check-out. This role is responsible for managing incoming telephone communications, scheduling patient appointments, coordinating referrals and insurance authorizations, and completing patient registration, check-in, and check-out functions. The Patient Services Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for patients, providers, and referring offices, ensuring timely communication, accurate documentation, and exceptional customer service while supporting clinic workflow, maintaining regulatory compliance, and promoting efficient daily operations. Projects a professional demeanor and appearance while maintaining the confidentiality of patients, coworkers, and the Northwest Specialty Hospital as appropriate. This position will require excellent customer service skills and communication skills. Works under stress and in situations that demand patience and tact while providing impeccable service. Other duties as assigned.
