Sodexo is seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Patient Services Manager 2 to join our team at Mohawk Valley Health System – Wynn Hospital in Utica, New York. Wynn Hospital is a state-of-the-art 375-bed acute care facility serving a diverse patient population and committed to delivering exceptional care and service.

 

This is an outstanding opportunity for a healthcare food service leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about patient satisfaction, employee development, and operational excellence. The Patient Services Manager 2 will oversee frontline union employees while serving as a key liaison between patient dining services, nursing, dietitians, and hospital leadership.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee daily patient dining operations and patient meal service throughout the hospital
  • Lead, coach, train, and develop frontline union employees to ensure exceptional service delivery
  • Conduct daily patient rounding and service recovery to proactively address patient concerns and improve satisfaction
  • Analyze patient satisfaction metrics and implement action plans to drive continuous improvement
  • Serve as a liaison between nursing teams, dietitians, and patient dining operations
  • Ensure meal accuracy, service quality, and timely meal delivery
  • Support patient safety initiatives and contribute to a positive patient experience
  • Monitor compliance with Sodexo Gold Check Standards, HACCP guidelines, food safety regulations, and sanitation requirements
  • Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and service excellence

What You Bring

  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Experience managing patient dining, food service, hospitality, or healthcare operations
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with nursing, clinical teams, and hospital leadership
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer and patient experiences
  • Experience analyzing performance metrics and implementing operational improvements
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, HACCP, and regulatory compliance standards
  • Experience supervising union employees is preferred
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Healthcare food service experience strongly preferred

Qualifications & Requirements
