POSITION SUMMARY
The Patient Services Representative serves as a liaison between patients, providers, clinical teams, insurance companies, and our Central Billing department. This role supports the coordination of patient care through appointment scheduling, insurance verification, patient communications, check-in/check-out processes, and administrative support.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Welcome patients in a friendly, professional, and compassionate manner
- Answer incoming calls, schedule appointments, and assist with patient communication and recalls
- Respond to patient questions regarding billing, services, procedures, and office policies
- Prepare and maintain accurate patient charts and documentation within the EHR system
- Verify insurance eligibility, obtain authorizations, and support clean claim processing
- Efficiently process patient check-in and check-out, including payment collection and scheduling follow-up care
- Maintain strong communication with clinical staff to support smooth patient flow throughout the office
- Complete end-of-day responsibilities including balancing cash drawers, processing deposits, and running reports
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming office environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned by office leadership and providers
