Job Title: Patient Services Representative Duration: 03 Months High possibility of extension
Location: Norfolk, VA 23507
Schedule Notes: Shift Hours: 8a-430p and every other weekend
Job Description:
- Greeting families, updating all demographics, verifying insurance for eligibility and coverage, collecting co pays, obtaining consent (phone, in person, judge, etc..)
- Scanning documents in medical records, supports all departments, accurate documentation, admissions to hospital and also children s pavilion and other duties as assigned.
- Do they need to float to other locations: NO
- Experience required to succeed in this role.
- Customer service, dependability, adaptable to change, busy work environment, Insurance knowledge (a must), prior hospital registration is helpful but not required, being a team player in all situations with all types of people, able to handle situations that may not end nicely, able to work in multiple systems and more!
