Patient Services Representative - Orthopedics & Sports Medicine

BayCare Clinic Orthopedics and Sports Medicine is looking for a Patient Services Representative to join our team in Green Bay, WI. We’re looking for a compassionate, thoughtful candidate who wants to contribute to a positive experience for all our patients. The typical hours for this role are Monday-Friday between 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. No Holidays! No Weekends!

We are a physician-owned entity with joint ownership in Aurora BayCare Medical Center, a 167-bed hospital located in Green Bay, WI, offering us a built-in referral base. The Job:   

Our Patient Services Representatives perform receptionist and general office duties and acts as initial contact person for patients. This position would work in a combination between our phone room and front desk.

• Greets and checks in patients.
• Assists patients in filling out patient forms.
• Answers phones, takes messages, routes calls when necessary.
• Develops patient charts.
• Enters pertinent information into patient charts.
• Schedules patient appointments.
• Collects co-payments from patients.
• Performs general office duties.
• Respects and maintains confidentiality.
• Works in a safe, compliant and ethical manner at all times.

The Requirements:

• A minimum of a high school education or equivalent. 
• Post high school coursework in Medical Terminology and/or Office Assistant is appropriate.
• Must have a working knowledge of medical terms and health insurance.
• Must possess strong desktop computer skills.
• Experience with EPIC is preferred.
• Prior experience in a medical setting is preferred.
