The Patient Services Representative (PSR) provides high-quality, efficient patient care by supporting communication, scheduling, and documentation processes under supervision.
- Ensures respectful communication, verifies appointments, assists with forms, and explains insurance and payment options.
- Schedules appointments, answers calls, and makes referrals, demonstrating core values of dignity, excellence, service, and justice.
- Accurately manages patient check-in, updates records, processes insurance and payments, and ensures completeness of documentation.
- Supports medical records management by handling e-fax queues, releasing records per policy, and assisting team members.
- Works evenings and weekends at various sites; minimum high school or GED, bilingual skills preferred, with experience in front office preferred; BLS certification required.
