Patient Services Representative - Wonderful medical clinic to work for!

This Patient Services Representative position with be a vital part of the office.  You will be interacting with patients over the phone versus at the front desk. Our client is a fantastic and very reputable medical practice in the Appleton area.  They pride themselves on caring for the well being of their patients and are looking for someone with the same care and compassion for others. 

 

Job Title: Patient Service Representative (Phone Room)

Pay Rate: $20/hour

Hours: Full Time, 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday

Length: Temporary approximately 3 months with a possibility for hire if there is an opening available at that time

Location: Appleton, WI (on-site)

Requirements: 

• Good customer service skills and dependability are required
• Must be comfortable working on computer all day
• Medical office experience is preferred
• Multi-task, work in a fast paced environment
• Present innovative thinking and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities:

This position will primarily consist of working in the phone room answering and routing incoming calls.

• Operate a multi-line telephone to connect interoffice and house calls
• Schedule appointments
• Register patients when calling for appointments
• Take insurance information from patients
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and coworkers
