Part-Time | 0.60 FTE | Night Shift (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

Pay Range: $23.47 - $34.82 per hour

The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.

What You'll Do

In this role, you'll remotely monitor patients who require additional observation and support.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Monitor assigned patients continuously using our telesitter system.
• Watch for changes in behavior, movement, or safety concerns.
• Use two-way audio to communicate with patients and provide reminders, guidance, and reassurance.
• Help redirect patients from actions that could place them at risk.
• Alert nursing staff immediately when a patient needs assistance.
• Escalate urgent safety concerns to the care team without delay.
• Communicate clearly with patients, nurses, and other caregivers.
• Support smooth patient handoffs during breaks and shift changes.
• Help identify and report safety concerns within patient rooms and care environments.
• Ensure language preferences are accurately documented so patients receive appropriate support.
• Maintain consistent observation and attention throughout your shift.

What You'll Bring

Required

• Oregon Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire, issued through either American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Completion of PeaceHealth monitoring equipment training within one month of hire.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Comfort using computers and multiple monitoring screens simultaneously.
• Ability to stay focused, observant, and responsive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Preferred

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of patient care experience, preferably in an acute care or hospital setting.
