Job Overview
Join Fairview as a Patient Transporter at the University of Minnesota Medical Center (East Bank) and play a vital role in patient care. You’ll collaborate closely with medical staff, use technology to track transport activity, and deliver outstanding customer service to patients and families. 7-3:30 E/O Weekend 7-3:30

Responsibilities
- Responsible for safe physical transfer and transport of patients throughout the University Campus.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and readiness to assure prompt patient delivery.
- Demonstrate appropriate knowledge of safety protocols, infection control standards and emergency preparedness.
- Ensure patient satisfaction by providing prompt and timely responses to all transport related tasks.
- Provide outstanding customer service to patients, families, and all members of the medical team.
- Utilize provided technology to accurately record Transport data.
- Continuously works to improve interpersonal skills and relationships.
- Communicates continuously with team members, medical staff and dispatch.
Required Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross)
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year Customer Service or Patient Care experience
Qualifications:
$21.27- $26.63 Hourly
