Job Description Summary:

Provides and assists with the lifting, moving, and transporting of patients throughout the facility.

Job Description:

Responds to requests for transport in a timely manner. Transports patients via wheelchair, stretcher or bed to designated sites as requested, including patients with oxygen tanks, intravenous pumps, drips, monitors and other equipment.

Assists patients with entering and exiting vehicles, including transfer from or to wheelchairs or stretchers.

Monitors patient condition and responds appropriately to changes in patient condition.

Safely handles any equipment/supplies used by the patient, including wheelchairs, walkers, stretchers, beds, oxygen supply devices, invasive lines, pumps, and monitors.
