The Transporter performs various procedures and tasks assisting staff nurses in the treatment and care of patients, including the surgical patient, under the direction and supervision of a staff nurse at all times. The Transporter transports patients to various areas throughout the hospital including discharge.
FULL TIMEÂ
High school graduate or equivalency.Must complete the 4-6-week orientation program
AHA, ARCÂ BLS required.Â
Previous experience in an acute care setting preferred.
