HEALTH INSURANCE BENEFITS
INSURANCE PREMIUMS:
The City of Noblesville pays 80% of the medical, dental and vision premiums for full-time city employees. Insurance premiums are deducted over 24 pays per year.
BENEFIT PLANS:
MEDICAL
Office visit co-pay: $40.00
Urgent care co-pay: $50.00
Emergency room co-pay: $175.00
In-network benefits:
Deductible: $400.00 individual / $800.00 family
Paid by plan after deductible is met: 80%
Out-of-Pocket maximum: $900.00 individual / $1,800.00 family
PRESCRIPTIONS/RX
Generic co-pay: $25.00
Brand name formulary co-pay: $35.00
Brand name non-formulary co-pay: $50.00
Employee Healthcare Clinic
Full-time employees have access to a Health and Wellness Clinic which provides many health and wellness services for employees and dependents on the citys medical healthcare plan. Many of the services provided are those you would expect to receive from a family physician. The clinic also provides generic prescriptions and clinical lab testing. All services provided at the Health and Wellness Clinic are provided at no cost to the employee.

Preventative services paid at 100%
Basic Services paid at 80% ($50.00 deductible)
Major services paid at 50% ($50.00 deductible)
Vision
Routine Eye Exam: $0 co-pay (In-Network)
Hardware: Up to $600 Annually
Safety Glasses: Up to $300 for safety glasses through Blue View Vision Network providers.
SECTION 125 - FLEX SPENDING ACCOUNTS
Flex Spending enables you to reimburse yourself for an un-reimbursed health care or dependent care expenses using pre-taxed payroll deducted dollars.
LIFE INSURANCE
Employees are provided a city paid life insurance policy in the amount of $50,000.00.
RETIREMENT
The City of Noblesville and the employee contribute money towards future retirement under the 1977 Police Officers and Firefighters Pension. Normal retirement occurs with 20 years of service. Your compensation would be 50% of the annual salary of a Patrolman 1st Classs pay. An additional 2% per year may be earned up to 32 years of service. DEFERRED COMPENSATION
Employees are eligible to participate in the deferred compensation program. The city will match a percentage of contributions up to $3,000 annually.

Sick Time
City employees earn seven (7) hours of sick time each month.
Float Days
City employees receive five (5) float days per year, which may be used as vacation days.
Holidays
The city recognizes and provides holiday pay for approximately eleven (11) holidays per year.
Equipment & Uniforms
Keeping with the progressive attitude of a modern Police Department in a diverse community, equipping personnel with the state-of-the-art police tools is essential. Officers are provided with all uniforms, weapons, leather gear, bullet proof vest and all other equipment necessary to do the job.
Wellness Benefit
City employees are encouraged to use any of the fitness sites located throughout the city at the Public Safety Building or surrounding Fire Stations. Officers are allowed to use three (3) hours per week for physical fitness training while on duty and can receive fitness direction from several fitness instructors within the city.
Onsite fitness facility available 24/7 to employees and spouses at no cost.
Other Benefits
Police Officers are eligible for the take-home car program after all initial training is completed and approved by the Administration.
