The Gogue Performing Arts Center (https://goguecenter.auburn.edu/) is seeking a Patron Services Coordinator to help deliver an exceptional experience for every guest. Reporting to the Patron Services Manager, this role serves as a key point of contact for patrons by providing outstanding customer service, managing ticket sales and patron accounts, and supporting Box Office and Front-of-House operations. From assisting guests with ticket purchases to ensuring day-of-show operations run seamlessly, this position plays an integral role in the success of performances and events.
Responsibilities
+ Provides customer service via email, telephone, and in person, describing performances/events, addressing questions, and resolving patron issues.
+ Processes ticket orders and fulfillment, including verifying order forms, computing charges, and organizing orders.
+ Records ticket orders in the database, including seat assignments, patron status, ticket issues, and charge updates.
+ Contributes to training sessions for box office and front-of-house personnel, including usher training and shadowing team members.
+ Assists patrons with renewals of full season, series, create-your-own, and single ticket purchases.
+ Provides directions to patrons on day-of-show for seat locations, restrooms, theatre entrances, concessions, and sponsorship event details.
+ Sets up day-of-show stanchions, merchandise tables, chairs, and tablecloths, and stuffs Playbills with updated information.
+ Provides current information and processes sponsorship donations into patron accounts.
+ Assists students with purchasing tickets, seat availability, and student RUSH ticket distribution.
+ Facilitates payments for school show performances, documents payments.
Qualifications
+ High School Diploma or GED
+ 1 year of customer services experience in sales and service by phone, in-person, or online.
